My journey reflects a deep commitment to both education and community development. With over 25 years of experience as a mathematics teacher, my expertise in the subject has been complemented by leadership roles such as Head of Years 7 – 11, Head of Department, and Lead Practitioner of Mathematics. These roles have allowed me to develop strong skills in managing and mentoring, which have further enhanced my ability to positively impact students.

However, my passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others led me to transition from education to childcare. Recognising the challenges that working families face, I took the bold step of establishing an Inspiring Learners branch. This initiative was created to provide high-quality childcare services that are accessible and supportive for families, reflecting my ongoing dedication to addressing community needs. My diverse career journey showcases my adaptability and my genuine desire to create positive change, not only in the classroom but also in the broader community.

I am a dedicated and passionate primary school teacher with seven years of experience in an outstanding school, where I have worked closely with students to create a love of learning and create a positive environment. With a strong foundation in teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to shine.

In addition to my teaching expertise, I have eight years of experience in wraparound childcare, which has further enhanced my understanding of children's developmental needs outside of the classroom. My diverse background in both education and childcare allows me to offer a well-rounded approach, providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children to grow and explore. I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young learners and creating memorable after-school experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity.
